Monique J. Dunn B.A, M.S CCC-SLP

Motivated by passion and driven by integrity, Monique J. Dunn is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, Philanthropist, and Early Childhood Development Advocate. Monique has gained experience working as a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist in multiple settings across the lifespan. Monique specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various communication deficits related to receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, pragmatics, auditory processing disorders, and other developmental delays. Monique's treatment methods have quantifiably led to positive progress reports, academic and social satisfaction, and documented improvement in school and home environments. In addition to incorporating art into therapy sessions, Monique enjoys blending creative notions with analytic processes to help students tap into their innate potential – ultimately positioning them for a high level of communication advancements that eventually become the baseline for success within their personal, academic, and professional lives. Additionally, Monique mentors young girls, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and helping them set the foundation for successful personal and professional futures. Monique's hobbies include beekeeping, ceramics, painting, photography, metalsmithing, and traveling worldwide to explore new, beautiful places, people, and cultures.

Dr. Ethan Levien SLPD, CCC-SLP

Dr. Ethan Levien graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in communication sciences and linguistics and his drive to continually improve led him to complete his Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern University while also working as a clinician. Since 2013 he has enjoyed being deeply involved in the work of serving school-aged children from a variety of diverse backgrounds as a speech language pathologist in Central Florida as well as in Jamaica where he provides telehealth services through his private practice Therapy in the Hills. Always eager to integrate his interests in linguistics, language variation, autism, and literacy, his personal and professional efforts are focused on changing how learners of all kinds use and think about language, particularly when managing behavior and communication issues. His doctoral research “Language Ideology and Practice - A Conceptual Framework for SLP,” is an investigation of the usefulness of a linguistic anthropological lens for research and clinical methodology in speech language pathology. Across a myriad of roles, his ultimate aim for himself and others is always to foster useful ways of thinking and to leverage language as a tool for solving problems. His hobbies include genre fiction, table top games, and disc golf.

Sulieka Pryce M.S CCC-SLP

Suleika Pryce is a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience in the medical sector with feeding and swallowing and acquired neurological issues related to speech and language difficulty, as well as early intervention methods for speech and language. Currently, she works in a pilot program in an acute hospital for dually diagnosed patients with intellectual disability/autism and psychiatric disorders. She is the author of Tattletales of a Speech-Language Pathologist: The CFY’s Guide to Surviving the Skilled Nursing Facility (released February 2021). She is also the author of Seven Ways to Expand Your Small World and See the Big One (released May 2022). An avid traveler, Suleika has volunteered as a supervisor in a study abroad program in Belize. She hosts a yearly toy and book drive, which lent help to this area in December 2021. As she continues to travel, she is increasingly interested in ways to provide resources for populations disadvantaged in the areas of communication or learning disabilities. She plans to provide 100 communication devices in the next year through her organization. Additionally, Suleika remains the founder of The Autism Museum, a growing effort to bring autistic and intellectually and neurologically diverse individuals to the corporate art space, increase networking opportunities, and bridge the gap of understanding between autistic people and the communities they occupy.

Krutika Jagad B.A, M.S, CCC-SLP

Hello! My name is Krutika Jagad, and I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for the past six years. I have been serving the pediatric population throughout my years of service and have found a deep love for working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My expertise lies in providing individual and group sessions to help children learn the necessary skills to communicate independently and enhance their life skills. I have experience working in various settings and have had the privilege of providing therapy in the following domains: articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, social/pragmatic language, fluency, and childhood apraxia of speech. I currently hold national certification from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. 

I am excited to be a member of JASHDA and look forward to meeting all of you!

Ann-Marsha Burkett-Watson graduated with her Master's of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University, New York. She completed her clinical fellowship year in New York, working in elementary and preschool settings. Since beginning her career as a speech-language pathologist, Ann-Marsha has always had a passion for children and providing support for families of children with communication delays and disorders. In addition, Ann-Marsha has experience working with a variety of populations in several settings, namely home-based therapy, preschool, public schools and in her private practice. Over the years, Ann-Marsha has found that providing services in a clinic based setting, specifically, pediatric therapy has been the most rewarding. Her primary areas of interest include Autism Spectrum Disorders and pediatric feeding.

Dennette Vassell , M.S., CCC-SLP

Dennette Vassell has over 13 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist and she specializes in pediatric communication disorders and feeding therapy. She is interested in building awareness about the field of Speech-Language Pathology in underserved communities in order to promote this amazing area of study as a career path for persons from diverse backgrounds. She is proud of being raised in Jamaica for part of her early life and she believes that the lessons she learned as a child provided a strong foundation for her future. 

Keyra-Nicole Lecointe, M.S, CCC-SLP

Keyra-Nicole Lecointe is an accomplished speech-language pathologist. Throughout her dynamic career, she skillfully applies her knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals across diverse age groups. Keyra's experience includes working with clients of all ages, from children with developmental speech delays to adults facing communication challenges and swallowing disorders post-illness or injury. In her current role within the medical setting, Keyra seamlessly navigates the complexities of both acute care, addressing immediate communication needs, and subacute care, fostering long-term recovery. Through her compassionate and personalized approach, Keyra continues to make meaningful contributions to the field of speech-language pathology through volunteer work and research. Beyond her career, she finds joy in exercising, exploring nature, and embarking on new adventures.

Amanda Pringle M.S, CCC-SLP

Amanda Pringle, a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), licensed to practise in Florida, New York, and Virginia, is dedicated to bridging communication gaps and empowering individuals of all ages.

From the completion of the certificate in Communication Sciences and Disorders and the master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, both from Florida International University (FIU), to the acquisition of multiple SLP licenses, each step stands as a testament to her relentless pursuit of elevating her craft to new heights.

Inspired by the profound impact of speech therapy, Amanda embarked on a journey that led her through diverse settings, including hospitals, schools, and clinics. Specializing in swallowing and feeding disorders, she's committed to addressing developmental delays and disorders across all ages with personalized care.

Her dynamic style of therapy educates caregivers and emphasizes collaboration, empowering families to become active participants to foster lasting progress.

Her heart lies in her homeland, Jamaica, where she's determined to help provide even more accessible speech therapy services.

Latoya Chisholm, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIS (She/Her/Hers/Ella) 

Latoya is a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist currently serving multilingual populations with developmental delays, neurological disorders, childhood speech and language disorders, and acquired neurogenic communication and/or swallowing disorders. Latoya completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science Disorders at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, NY and completed her Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Throughout her education, Latoya developed her love for exploring the science of  communication and improving the quality of life of others. Latoya has led research in the areas of motor speech disorders and sociolinguistics and supervised graduate clinicians in inpatient and outpatient settings. Latoya enjoys live music, dancing, painting, traveling, and perusing museums. Latoya has a passion for learning and helping others across the lifespan and utilizes these passions along with her creativity to serve populations in a personalized and effective manner.

Brittney Aiken, M.S, CCC-SLP

Brittney Aiken, MA, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Pathologist with 11 years of experience. Brittney earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009. Followed by a master’s degree in communication and sciences disorder at the University of Greensboro during 2012. Brittney is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in North Carolina and Jamaica. Her areas of specialty are in early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, alternative and augmentative forms of communication, and implementing sensory integration and parent coaching techniques. Brittney holds the following certifications: Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Melodic Based Communication Training, and Beckman Oral Motor. Speech-Language. Pathology is not just a career to Brittney; it is a personal mission and passion.

Kelsey-Jo Sharpe Bio, M.S, CCC-SLP

Kelsey-Jo A Sharpe is a Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in brain injury rehabilitation. With an unwavering dedication to unraveling the complexities of neurocommunication, she guides individuals through the intricate journey of restoring and enhancing their communication abilities in the face of neurological challenges. Though Kelsey has specialized in brain injury rehabilitation, she has experience in teletherapy, home health, juvenile detention centers, and school-based settings. Born in St.Andrew, Jamaica, she left the country at 17 to pursue a Bachelor’s and, subsequently, a Master’s degree from the University of Louisiana Monroe. The field of speech pathology intertwined her creative pursuits with a passion for healthcare. Beyond clinical practice, Kelsey is a fervent advocate for raising awareness about cognitive communication disorders. She actively engages with community organizations, schools, and healthcare providers to promote understanding and inclusivity for all.

Christina Bartley, B.A., M.S., CF-SLP

Christina is a recent graduate of Worcester State University, where she received her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. With a focus on serving diverse populations across the lifespan, Christina has developed a deep-rooted commitment to making a difference in her community.

Throughout her academic journey, Christina demonstrated a passion for advocating for the needs of others, particularly those with communication disorders and challenges, including neurological issues such as Aphasia and Parkinson's Disease. Her coursework and clinical experiences have equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech and language difficulties, as well as swallowing disorders.

Christina has experience providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients across the lifespan, focusing on areas such as social communication, cognition, and voice therapy. She enjoys incorporating her love for music into therapy sessions, recognizing the therapeutic benefits it can provide in enhancing communication skills and overall well-being.

As a mother of two, Christina understands the importance of effective communication in every aspect of life. Her personal experiences have strengthened her empathy and compassion, driving her desire to help individuals overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential.

In her free time, Christina enjoys spending quality time with her family, singing, and dancing. She is dedicated to using her education and experiences to empower others and enhance their quality of life through improved communication skills.
